What does a text case converter do?
A case converter changes the capitalisation of text without retyping it. It’s perfect when you accidentally type with Caps Lock on, need a headline in Title Case, want to fix an ALL-CAPS email, or must format variable names for code.

Title Case rules
Our Title Case follows the conventions used by major style guides: capitalise the first and last word and all major words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns), and keep short articles, conjunctions and prepositions — a, an, the, and, but, or, of, in, on, to, for, with — in lowercase unless they start the title or follow a colon.
Tips for writers and SEOs
- Use Title Case or Sentence case consistently for all headings on your site.
- Convert headlines to kebab-case to create clean, SEO-friendly URL slugs.
- Avoid ALL CAPS in emails and ads — it reads as shouting and can trigger spam filters.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert uppercase to lowercase?
Paste your text and click the “lowercase” button. The result appears instantly, ready to copy.
What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalize Each Word?
Capitalize Each Word capitalises every word. Title Case follows editorial rules and keeps small words such as “and”, “of” and “the” lowercase.
Can I convert text to camelCase or snake_case for programming?
Yes. camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE and dot.case are all supported and each line is converted separately.
Is there a character limit?
No practical limit. Everything runs in your browser, so even long documents convert instantly.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. Your text is never sent to a server or saved.
